"❤️ A heartfelt review from a parent ❤️ I am a part-time, work-from-home mother, and for almost an entire year I personally witnessed Vedam School closely. Every day, I dropped my son at school and worked from my car outside the premises. What I’m sharing here is not hearsay—it is deeply observed, experienced, and lived. Vedam School is approximately 14 km away from our home, yet we chose it without hesitation—and today I know it was one of the best decisions we made for our child. My son needed special attention. He had a speech delay and was afraid of school due to past experiences. Adjusting to a new environment was not easy for him. What Vedam School offered was not just education, but care, patience, and emotional understanding. From teachers to didis to every staff member, the support and attention my child received helped him slowly fall in love with school. To be honest, after visiting many schools, my son chose Vedam for himself at just 3 years old. What attracted him was the freedom to explore—sand pits, plants, mitti, grass, creativity in every corner. Morning assemblies helped him socialize, have fun, and make friends naturally. One of the most beautiful aspects of Vedam is that the teachers truly understand child psychology. Children are encouraged to interact freely and develop social skills naturally, with gentle intervention only when needed. Initially, I was allowed to drop my child right up to the classroom—something they made special exceptions for, purely for my child’s emotional comfort. At times, other children would come up and talk to me, which made my son feel even more secure. What I deeply appreciated was the strong safety awareness—even when I was present, staff members were always discreetly watching, ensuring every child’s safety. As a mother, that gave me immense peace. Vedam School stands out for its: Sustainable, nature-based infrastructure Deep connection with the environment—you can literally smell the soil during monsoons Activity-based learning that makes academics joyful and easy Teaching children to respect and protect the planet No day is boring here. Children are introduced to meaningful, real-life experiences—pottery with real clay, yoga, visits to places like grocery stores and Decathlon, and much more. My son fell in love with pottery at school, and today he happily makes small pots at home on his toy pottery machine. One of my proudest moments was watching my child perform Bhangra on stage during the annual day—confidently, joyfully, in front of so many people. I never imagined he could do that. Vedam doesn’t force children—they nurture hidden abilities gently. I rarely saw children crying after the initial settling period. Kids are given the freedom to adjust at their own pace. Teachers always make time to talk to parents and are open to making exceptions based on a child’s emotional and physical needs. That flexibility is truly their superpower. My son absolutely adores Anita Ma’am (and so do I). Just mentioning her name makes him ready to go to school—even in the evening! 😄 She is empathetic, compassionate, and deeply connected to the children. I also deeply admire Priyanka Ma’am (the Principal). Every interaction with her reflects her clear vision—to make children aware of nature, values, learning, personality, and life itself. She doesn’t just have great ideas—she actually implements them. It took me two days to write this review because, like every mother, I have limited time. But I felt it was important to help parents who are searching for a safe, kind, sustainable, and reliable first school for their child. If your child is going to school for the first time and needs understanding, warmth, and space to grow—Vedam School is truly a blessing.
